German National Honor Society @ PHS
2021 Induction Ceremony: Tuesday, March 9, 6:00 in the auditorium
•a national educational honorary society for the study of high school German,
sponsored by the American Association of Teachers of German (AATG)
•to recognize high school scholastic achievement in the study of German
•to promote interest in the study of German language, literature, and civilization
Delta Epsilon Phi society only accepts students of the highest caliber scholarship
ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
- Student must be enrolled in German 3 and above
- Student must have 3.6 GPA in German
- Student must have a 3.0 cumulative high school GPA
- Student must show integrity and enthusiasm in activities related to German and its study
- Student must take National German Exam at least once as a member
- Student is enrolled in German throughout membership

A special INDUCTION CEREMONY is held each year after the end of the first semester
•membership dues are $30 (one time fees)
•members will receive a DEP insignia pin and a national membership certificate
•seniors are eligible to wear the DEP honor cords at graduation
