I graduated form Portage high shool. I finished my undergraduate degree at UW Stevens Point in Sociology and Social Work. From there I worked in mental health services for adolescents for 2 years. I then went to UW Stout to receive my master's degree in school counseling. After grad school I worked in the Adams-Friendship school district to improve school climate across the district. I am extremely excited to be starting my fourth year school counseling at Bartels Middle School. I love trying new things and pride myself in my resiliency and have an adventurous spirit. I love to travel, do anything outside, or stay in and listen to music and read. I look forward to meeting students, helping them in their path of self-discovery and to ensure that BMS is a safe and fun environment to learn, live and play.
I am the advisor of the Gay-Straight Alliance (GSA) here at Bartels Middle School and I co-advise the organization, Students Taking Action Refusing Substances (STARS).
I am generally in or around the office from 7:30 AM to 3:30 PM. If calling anytime after that, I will get to you the next day.
