I am originally from Bloomington, a small town in southwest Wisconsin. I graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Platteville in 2006 with a bachelor's degree in English education. I earned a masters degree in special education in 2019 and a masters degree in learning and technology in 2021 from Western Governors University. I taught for seven years at Necedah High School before coming to Portage in 2014. This year, I am teaching AP Language and Composition and American Literature.
When I'm not reading student essays, I like to be outside spending time with my husband, son, and dogs.
