Dec. 1 vs. Baraboo
The Warriors did not come out on top on Tuesday, at Baraboo, as they were on the losing end by the score of 62-52. However, the improvement was extremely evident after their opening game loss to Beaver Dam. The T-Birds ran out to a 10-2 lead, but the Warriors fought back behind the stellar play of Emma Kreuziger. Emma tallied 12 points and 12 rebounds at half and the Warriors only trailed by 1 point, 25-24. To start the second half, the T- Birds got off to a fast start once again, sprinting off to a 10 point lead and expanded it to as much as a 19 point lead with just 5 minutes left in the game. This is where the Warriors made some noise and played very inspired. It started with a Cameran Ratz's three pointer, followed up by a 3 point play by Stella Brees. Alli Kallungi really made some things happen in a 3 minute stretch towards the end of the game. Alli pulled down 3 rebounds, dished out 2 assists, and scored a put back rebound. Despite being on the losing end, the Warriors showed some heart and will look to rebound next Monday vs Wisconsin Dells. Ratz led the way for the Warriors with 15 points including 3 three - pointers. Kreuziger added 14 points including going a perfect 6-6 from the free throw line. Brees contributed 13 points with a 3 pointer and one 3 point play!

November 24 Vs. Beaver Dam
Wonderful experience playing Beaver Dam as they are a very good basketball team. Their defense, size and speed created far too many turnovers on our end. We started the game with a moment of silence for Donald (Donny) E. Wakershauser who passed away on October 20th at the age of 81. What an awesome Warrior fan to have. COVID has forced us to manage the game differently but I'm proud of the work our athletic department has done to prepare for competitions as safely as possible. We have moved our chairs to the opposite side of the gym and spaced them out 6 feet. Our basketballs are sanitized and protected with specific disinfectants and everyone is using their masks. Even though it is sad to not have fans in the stands, we love that NFHS Network allows anyone to watch PHS Warrior basketball on their devices anywhere they have internet.
