The Portage Fire Department will be conducting special training sessions on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, September 16, 17 and 18, 2025.
PFD staff and equipment will be at the old Schultz Farm, next to Culver's, at various times over the course of these three days.

The PCSD has been informed that construction work on Collins Street (the street leading into and out of the Portage High School campus) will begin on Tuesday, September 2, 2025. This construction will include lane closures and changes along New Pinery Road to Slifer Street. We have been assured that all lanes from Collins Street to Slifer Street will be open between 7 a.m. - 8 a.m. and 3 p.m. - 4 p.m. to accommodate traffic in the area for morning school drop off and afternoon school pickup.
We ask that you please take extra care if you are driving anywhere near this location during construction, but especially in the morning immediately before school and during the afternoon at the end of the school day.
