As we prepare for another exciting high school football season, our top priority is ensuring that our stadium, the Bob Mael Field, is a safe, welcoming and enjoyable environment for every fan in attendance. To help protect our students and guests and to ensure everyone has a great view of the game, we are implementing several updated game day procedures for all home football games.
Please review the following expectations with your family before attending any upcoming home games:
1. Student Attendance and Seating Expectations
- All elementary school students must attend home games with an adult and remain under adult supervision throughout the event.
- Middle school students are required to sit in the designated bleachers during the game to cheer on the Warriors. In addition, if middle school students want to attend the game for free, they need to be accompanied by an adult. If middle school students are attending the game without an adult, they will need to pay the $5 per game admission fee or purchase a season pass for $30.
2. Bleacher Safety and Accessibility
- No Running on Bleachers: Running up and down the bleachers is prohibited.
- Respect for All Fans: Constant coming and going on the bleachers creates major visual obstructions and safety hazards, particularly for our fans with disabilities, seniors, and guests trying to watch the game. Please remain seated while play is underway and keep aisles clear.
3. Recreational Play
- Student spectators wishing to play casual football near the GAB building are permitted to do so. Please use this area only.
4. E-Bikes and Electric Scooters
- E-bikes and electric scooters are not permitted on school grounds during home football games. E-Bikes and Scooters have become increasingly popular and have created a safety concern when used on school grounds. School staff have witnessed individuals riding these devices through ongoing campus construction zones, parking lots and sidewalks, resulting in several dangerous near-accidents. To prevent serious injury and protect pedestrians, these items must be left at home.
Our Shared Commitment to Safety
These updated rules are put in place with one goal in mind and that is to keep our school grounds safe. In addition, we want every fan, from our youngest supporters to our senior community members, to have a positive and memorable experience when attending home athletic events at the Bob Mael Field.
Thank you for your understanding and cooperation. We look forward to seeing you at our upcoming home football games - Go Warriors!
