The biggest bombs(HR) from 2000 - 2022
2000 Nick Hurd vs Baraboo: The Warriors and T-Birds had to go extra innings in this epic battle. The Warriors had squandered opportunities in innings 8 & 9. In the 10th inning with the bases loaded, Nick ends it with a blast that easily clears the fence plating the Warriors to a hard deserved 8-4 win at Bidwell.
2001 Tony Meidl vs Reedsburg: The Warriors and Beavers are tied going into the 7th inning and Matt Kinion reaches base on a walk with one out. Tony steps up and delivers with a homerun over the left field wall giving the Warriors a huge 3-1 win that clinched a conference title tie on that night. Portage would end winning the conference title by themselves with a victory over Wisconsin Dells the very next game. On this day as well Zachary Hemming becomes a member of the Hemming family!
2002 Tom Considine vs Mauston: The Golden Eagles only trailed the Warriors by one run on opening day. Tom provided the spark in the 5th inning with a two run HR that hit the top of the wall and fell over the fence lifting the Warriors to the win.
2003 Brian Feucht vs Waunakee: Brian finished the day in style with a solo walk off home run to end the game. He had also homered earlier in the 2nd inning as well.
2003 Ryan Kaufman at DeForest: Ryan rips a solo shot in the 6th inning. It was truly a big time homerun as it was his third bomb of the day and the Warriors win by the score of 8-5 to salvage a split at Norski stadium.
2004 Josh Krueger at DeForest: The Warriors were trailing the league leading Norskies(8-0) 2-1 in the 5th inning when Josh belted a grand slam homerun that propelled us to a 5-3 victory on the road.
2009 Anthony Bortz at DeForest: Matt Johnson, their ace, had come in to close the 7th inning. The Warriors trailed the Norskies 4-2 with runners on first and second base with two outs. Anthony rips a 2-2 fastball into the trees igniting the Warriors to a 5-4 win that ignited them to win two games in regional play to become back to back regional champions as well as sectional runner-up.
2011 Jake Parrott vs DeForest: Jake sets the tone very early with a leadoff bomb to plate the Warriors to an early 1-0 lead and would go on to win easily by the score of 11-3.
2014 Stian Anderson at DeForest: Both squads were undefeated in league play(3-0). DeForest pitcher Garret Kertz was coming off a no hitter is last time out on the mound. Stian unloads a 3 run homerun in the 1st inning that hit the Norski scoreboard as the Warriors cruise to the win and eventually win the conference title!
2016 Jakob Kastenholz at Reedsburg:Jakob breaks up a 0-0 game with a solo homerun in the 7th inning.
2016 Jack Nelson at Reedsburg: Jack had a shutout going on the mound and an errant pick off attempt in the 7th inning allowed the Beavers to tie the score at 1-1. He lead off the 8th inning with a solo blast to right field to put the Warriors up 2-1.
2016 Brandon Mazzuca at Reedsburg: The Baeavers make a pitching change after the Nelson lead off bomb. On the first pitch from the Beaver reliever, Brandon, goes yard plating the Warriors to a 3-1 lead. It is the first back to back homerum combo for a Coach Hemming team at the varsity level! The Warriors go on to win the game 5-1.
