SCHOOL YEAR 2025-2026 K-8 FREE BREAKFAST & LUNCH
Portage Community School District participates in the Community Eligibility Provision (CEP) for grades K-8. This program provides free breakfast and lunch for students enrolled full-time in grades K-8. Families with children attending any of the PCSD elementary schools or middle school DO NOT need to fill out a Free and Reduced Priced Meal Application to participate in the program. Each free breakfast and free lunch comes with a milk as part of the meal. There is no option to purchase a milk separately.
SCHOOL YEAR 2025-2026 HIGH SCHOOL ONLY PRICES:
High School lunch $3.75. High School breakfast $2.00.
High School reduced lunch $.40. High School reduced breakfast $.30.
Payment Methods: Payments for school food service accounts can be paid via online payment, cash, or check. There is a charge for online payments. Cash or check payments can be paid at any school office.
Free & Reduced Priced Meal Applications: Applications can be printed from the Portage School website, picked up at any school office, or a request can be made to any school office for the application to be sent home with a student or mailed to your current address. Free and Reduced Price Meal Applications are not needed for K-8 students.
The District Food Service Office: The District Food Service Director processes all applications. Applications can be returned to any school office, mailed to 2505 New Pinery Road, Portage, WI, 53901 (Attention: Megan Denman) or scanned to the Director at denmanm@portage.k12.wi.us.
Refunds: Food Service Meal Account Refunds can be requested at anytime to the District Food Service Director, Megan Denman, 608-742-3715 Ext. 2 or denmanm@portage.k12.wi.us. Accounts: Any remaining funds in a students account will be refunded upon graduation or leaving the district.
