Brian Linsner is excited to be the new Physical Educator at Rusch and Lewiston Elementary Schools. A K-12 certified Physical Education teacher, Brian is entering his 6th year as a teacher at the elementary level. He graduated from Olivet Nazarene University with his bachelors in Physical Education and Health in 2016, and taught 5 years in central Illinois before moving to Wisconsin in June 2021.
Outside of school, you'll find Mr. Linsner doing something active (i.e. running, biking, ultimate frisbee, soccer, etc.), spending time with his beautiful wife, Amanda, connecting with friends, or playing the piano/singing.
If you were to ask Brian why he went into teaching he'd tell you that it's because he has a passion for investing in the lives of young people. He has been blessed to receive a lot of value from mentoring relationships throughout his life, and being a positive role model is something that he strives to bring every day to the culture at the Portage Community School District.
