German Resources on the Web
Below are a few links to some online resources I recommend to students, and parents may find them interesting, as well. The Beolingus Online Dictionary was developed and is managed by the Technische Universität-Chemnitz (located in the German state of Sachsen); it's my personal go-to when I need to find or clarify a German word, and students will hear me reference this site throughout the year. Deutsche Welle (DW) has been a rich resource for learners of German for the last 65 years, offering numerous avenues for exploring the language, whether through news, radio, TV programming, or online language courses. And Deutsch für Euch (DFE) is a YouTube vlog with over 140 episodes ranging from pronunciation, vocabulary, grammar, and cultural topics. It offers students access to the language for practice outside of class.
