Homework is sometimes hard to accomplish at home when directions are unclear or students have questions that need to be answered by the teacher. Fortuntely, the jr. high offers homework help during the school day as well as after school hours.
HOMEWORK HELP DURING THE SCHOOL DAY
Students can receive help during the day during a mentored reading resource period. These resources (new name for studyhall) have a smaller student/teacher ratio and are a great opportunity for students to get questions answered during the school day. Students at times have opportunities to study for tests and quizzes during these resources as well.
AFTER SCHOOL HELP
Students have the opportunity to receive help after the school day during a program called HomeWork Club. This 'Club' is offered on Monday, Tuesday and Thursdays after school from 3:30 - 4:10 in the jr. high computer lab. The teachers who work during this club are available to answer questions and help students study for test and quizzes. Computers are available for students to do research for projects as well.
