I am a hometown girl, raised in Portage and graduated from Portage High School. I attended UW–Eau Claire, where I received my Bachelor’s degree in German and English Education. I returned to Portage 1994 when I began teaching German and English. In 2002 I earned my Master’s degree in Education/Professional Development from UW–La Crosse.
The courses I teach include all levels of German 1-5 (and for many years, World Literature). For the 2020-2021 school year, I will teach all levels of German: 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5. I coordinate the German Exchange Program and advise the PHS German National Honor Society.
Outside of the school day, my other loves include my son and family, great friends, playing the piano, good books, and traveling. My passport is always ready to go!
